You see it comin', are you gonna run for cover? No?! Then here's this 1987 Randall RG100 ES Head in classic Black. This is an absolute high-gain solid-state holy grail, famous for carving out some of the most iconic metal tones of the late '80s and early '90s. Immortalized by Dimebag Darrell on Pantera’s early groundbreaking records such as Cowboys From Hell, this 100-watt beast proves that you don't need tubes for bone-crushing punch, razor-sharp top-end bite, and a percussive low-end. Built like an absolute tank with rock-solid American construction, it’s a legendary piece of amp history that remains a mainstay for thrash, groove metal, and heavy rock players.

Operating via a high-voltageFET solid-state circuit, the RG100 ES features two switchable channels, Clean and Gain. They have a shared 3-band EQ, presence control, and a signature pull-treble boost knob that for an ultra-aggressive, scooped midrange crunch. There is also a unique built-in spring reverb for space, while the front-panel pull-boost lets you push the front end into the searing leads zone. It is equipped with dual speaker outputs (handling 4, 8, or 16-ohm loads) and a rear-panel FX loop, perfect for pedalboard setups with modulation and delay effects.

The original footswitch wasn't included - and it's a unique proprietary one - so we had one made by Champion Pedals in Detroit.  It's the FS-5J+ specifically made as a replacement footswitch for no longer made vintage Randall amps that have the 6 pin connector like the RG100-ES.  In addition to the Randall 6 pin connector, there is a 1/4" jack to switch something else along side of your Randall, opening up a world of possibilities.  The detachable cable makes setup and teardown much easier, while the modular construction make it more versatile should your rig change in the future
