We are offering a Fender Custom Shop American Custom Stratocaster RW NOS from 2022, a handcrafted in Corona, California (USA), luxury Stratocaster model featuring a solid ash body (3.67kg total weight), bolt-on Roasted Birdseye Maple neck with 60s oval “C” neck profile, dark “AAA” rosewood fingerboard with 9.5’’–12” compound radius and 22 narrow tall frets, two hand-wound Fender CS Fat 50’s Josefina Campos Strat singlecoil pickups and a Seymour Duncan Custom Shop ’78 humbucker (upgrade!), as well as a high-quality Fender CS American Vintage Synchronized Tremolo Bridge in a brilliant Aged Amber Natural NOS Nitro Finish with four-ply tortoise pickguard, and Fender locking tuners in very good condition, including Fender Custom Shop deluxe hardshell case, all manufacturer’s paperwork, and professional setup with 10-46 Elixir Optiweb strings.
As part of the American Custom Collection, this Stratocaster combines traditional craftsmanship from the Fender Custom Shop with modern features and exceptionally selected tonewoods. The guitar thus combines the classic character of the early 1960s with contemporary ergonomics and exceptionally high-quality craftsmanship: a beautifully grained ash body, a spectacular roasted birdseye maple neck, and the deep-dark “AAA” rosewood fingerboard instantly give the instrument an exclusive boutique character!
Sonically, the Stratocaster impresses with its exceptional versatility. The retrofitted pickguard, featuring two Fat 50’s single-coil pickups hand-wound by Josefina Campos, delivers the legendary Fender sound with bell-like highs, transparent mids, and a dynamic, open response. The Seymour Duncan Custom Shop ’78 humbucker (with an enlarged body cutout) expands the tonal spectrum to include powerful, warm rock sounds with a distinct vintage character and singing sustain. This makes the guitar an absolute all-rounder—those who prefer the original setup can reinstall the included, fully equipped and wired original pickguard with three Fat ’64 single-coil pickups.
A sound sample of this exact guitar can be found above at the end of the photo gallery.
The caramel-colored Roasted Birdseye Maple neck with a comfortable 60s-style oval “C” profile offers an excellent playing feel, and the very darkly selected rosewood fingerboard with a modern 9.5" –12" compound radius and 22 narrow tall frets enables precise chord playing as well as effortless bends and fast solos. The Fender Custom Shop Vintage tremolo bridge and high-quality locking tuners ensure excellent tuning stability.
Visually, the guitar impresses with its transparent Aged Amber Natural NOS nitro finish, which beautifully highlights the striking ash grain. The four-ply tortoise pickguard and nickel/chrome hardware perfectly round out the elegant vintage aesthetic.
