The Walrus Audio BADWATER BASS PRE-AMP D.I. is an all-in-one bass preamp designed to handle everything from fine-tuning your bass sound to aggressive tone shaping.In addition to smooth sustain provided by an optical compressor, it features a drive section with three selectable voicing options. It allows for blending with the clean signal, enabling you to craft a wide range of sounds?from natural distortion to powerful drive tones?while maintaining the bassfs presence and the clarity of your phrasing. Furthermore, it features a 4-band EQ covering Low, Low-Mid, High-Mid, and High, with adjustable center frequencies in the midrange.It flexibly handles everything from clean, warm tones to well-defined slap tones. Since you can use the 1/4-inch output and XLR output simultaneously, this unit is ideal for live performances and recording sessions where you want to connect to an amp and send a direct signal to a PA system at the same time.
