Roland G-505 1980s - Cherry red metallic
Vintage 1980s Roland G-505 electric guitar
Neal Schon of Journey played one of these guitars on tour in the early 1980s. This wonderful vintage piece of guitar history wears its original cherry-red metallic finish and a maple neck and fingerboard. It has a Seymour Duncan Lil Red Devil pickup in the bridge position, along with the Roland synth unit that is said to have had worked when I bought the guitar a few years ago. I haven’t tested it to verify simply because I don’t have the equipment to do so. It also sports a Washburn tremolo system. This is a great playing guitar that I am sad to see go.
This guitar also comes with a very nice flight case.
