This used Bach 3C cornet mouthpiece comes from the store's "test mouthpiece" stock, cleaned after each use and stored in a protective case.
The Bach 3C cornet mouthpiece (Model 349-3C) is one of the most widely used mouthpieces for cornet players looking for a vibrant, flexible, and slightly brighter tone. It features the exact same medium-wide rim and medium-depth cup design as the famous Bach 3C trumpet mouthpiece, allowing players to switch back and forth between instruments with a highly familiar rim feel. However, when used on a cornet, it offers a more "trumpety" and cutting commercial sound than a traditional deep V-cup British brass band mouthpiece.
- Cup Diameter: 16.30 mm
- Cup Depth: Medium
- Rim Shape: Medium-wide, lowered slightly toward the outside
- Standard Finish: Silver-plated brass (gold-plated options are also available)
