A beast of a fuzz pedal from Greer Amps. These are all hand made by Nick Greer in very limited numbers, using NOS components and old fashioned Tag Board construction. It’s a two transistor silicon fuzz featuring a pair of BC107B transistors, it sits somewhere between a Fuzzface and Tonebender. Just a volume control and frequency knob, fuzz is controlled with the guitar volume. Doesn’t get super clean but gets lots of distortion/overdrive flavours with a roll back of the guitar volume. The Frequency control really helps to get your guitar cut through the mix.
The pedal is boxed and in mint condition, the only slight wear is due to them being hand aged by Nick, as if they could look any cooler!
If you want to hear it in action, it’s in this That Pedal Show Fuzz special with Marcus Reeves. It appears at 29:40.
Happy to post anywhere in the UK.
