Sonor teardrop early 60s 14x4.75 snare, in original blue ripple finish. Thin German beech shell with reinforcing rings (which places it in the early 60s).

Snare throw-off is missing the cover plate (common) but is fully functional. All original except for heads and wires. Wrap is tight and internal muffler is in great shape. Slotted tension rods that need a 60s Sonor key (or reproduction). Snare side head is brand new Remo Ambassador Hazy.

I removed all lugs and packed them with cotton to keep the tension rod nut in place. The original inserts/pads had worn out (common) and nuts were loose. Not any more!

Warm, old school Sonor sound!
