PRS SE CE 24 Standard Satin in Metallic Gold, with original PRS SE padded gig bag.
This is one of those guitars that makes the SE line make sense immediately. Lightweight, comfortable, fast-playing, and extremely versatile, with the bolt-on response of the CE design and PRS's 85/15 “S” humbuckers.
The Metallic Gold satin finish looks especially good in person. It has an understated metallic sheen rather than a thick glossy look, and the thin satin finish keeps the guitar feeling very direct and responsive.
The Wide Thin maple neck, 24-fret rosewood fingerboard, and 25" scale make it comfortable for everything from rhythm work to upper-register lead playing. The push/pull tone control splits the 85/15 “S” humbuckers for additional single-coil-style sounds, so this can cover a lot of ground without a complicated control layout.
