An official description of this instrument follows. I am using it because it describes the guitar more accurately and eloquently than I ever could. The condition says, “excellent” but I want to be clear that it is absolutely, “mint.”

Torrefied Sitka Top, Adirondack Braces, Stunning Quilted Maple Back/Sides

From the initial run of the Andy Powers redesign of the Taylor 600 series, this is one of only 50 First Edition 14-fret 612ce guitars. While most First Editions were produced in runs of 100, the 612ce run was split among 50 12-fret and 50 14-fret instruments. Along with the standard features of the 612ce, the rare First Edition also includes Adirondack braces, exclusive headstock inlay, First Edition guitar label, and a commemorative First Edition nameplate on the deluxe hardshell case.

This particular guitar began production in March, 2015 and comes from the owner's personal stash. It is in factory fresh condition with all original paperwork and case candy. The quilted maple on this particular guitar is absolutely stunning with the hand-rubbed brown sugar finish, and was selected among many 600-Series First Editions as the best of the bunch. You'll be hard-pressed to find a Taylor with a more striking set of maple.
