Woodpack Instruments 10-Note Tongue Drum
Sunrise Model (E-Major)
includes a pair of rubber mallets
Notes: B, E, F#, G#, A, B, C#, E, F#, G#
[Sells new for $900]
The WoodPack SunRise is a large, hand-crafted wooden tongue and slit drum created by Slovakian musician and artisan Boris Čellár.
Designed for sound healing, meditation, music therapy, and live acoustic performance.
Tone: Produces a warm, hypnotic, and soothing melody that resembles a marimba, xylophone, or falling water drops rather than the metallic ring of a steel tongue drum.
Playing Methods: Played using either rubber-tipped mallets (for clear, resonant tones) or bare fingertips and hands (for faster rhythmic patterns and soft damping).
