Let’s hear it for one pickup guitars!

This is an incredible value - attention to detail, awesome wiring & pickup, high quality parts, fantastic vintage look and feel, pro set up. On my guitars I don't skimp on the electronics or the set up - I want to be able to count on it when I play out. Just something to keep in mind as you look at this guitar and other partscasters out there, not all are created equal. Boutique quality and feel at a fraction of the price.

*MJT Body: very lightweight [3lbs & 7oz] Pine; aged nitro in Blonde finish. In person, it appears a bit more Vintage White than Blonde, though the wood grain still peaks through.

*Allparts TMO-V replacement Telecaster neck, "officially licensed by Fender", Made in Japan. V neck profile shape, vintage 7.25" radius 21 vintage frets [0.079" x 0.043"], 1 5/8" nut width, 0.91" at 1st fret, 0.98" at 12th fret.

*The neck was initially unfinished but I added coats of Monty’s Montypresso relic wax to darken and age it slightly. Then I added many, thin coats of TruOil to seal it, thoroughly buffying after each coat. Now there’s a slight gloss tinge but with a smooth feel; it turned out great.

*The pickup is a Fender AVRI ’52 Telecaster bridge.

*The heart of this guitar is the hand wired harness, featuring high quality parts like an Oak Grisby 3 way switch, CTS 250k pots, Switchcraft jack, 22 gauge cloth covered push back wiring, etc. Based on Fender’s early 50s Esquire wiring, it’s got the “Eldred Esquire Mod” with a cocked wah setup:

1. Standard Esquire, pickup is routed through the volume only for a slightly hotter signal with extra highs.

2. Standard Esquire, pickup is routed through the volume and tone controls like a typical tele bridge pickup.

3. Eldred Esquire wiring, pickup is routed through a single, small capacitor and volume control, with the tone control bypassed.

The wiring is pretty versatile with three useable positions. I have used it on several gigs and was not left wanting, enjoying all three positions for a variety of tones.

*Also, as seen in the pictures, it does have the standard tele neck pickup route under the pickguard. So, if at some point you want to turn it into a “Double Esquire” standard telecaster with a neck pickup, you always have that option. But one pickup guitars rule!

*Gotoh SD91 aged vintage style tuners

*My Luthiers did all the wiring, fabricated a bone nut, and set it up with 12s [though you may want to adjust depending on your personal preferences]. You can rest easy knowing that it's been gone over by professionals and that everything works exactly like it should. Includes work receipts.

*Comes with a high quality, well padded Gator Transit gig bag

Parts include Wilkinson aged bridge with compensated brass saddles, Fender Road Worn hardware, Kluson nickel ferrules, aged string trees, Electrosocket jack.

Added bonus, it’s super lightweight, only 6.2lbs.
