Eastman AR805CE (Sunburst) Archtop Guitar in near-mint condition. Serial No: #2801 (2008). This is a high-quality, 18+ years old Jazz Box having a single cutaway and featuring a Kent Armstrong neck-mounted pickup with controls on the pickguard so that the solid spruce top is not restricted by extra hardware. This guitar is loud acoustically and soft/lush when amplified. Instrument indicates minimal wear with no nicks, finish swirls, damage, belt rash, etc. The Eastman AR805CE uses a 16 inch wide, 3.25 inch deep body built with solid tone woods: Carved solid spruce for the top, carved solid maple for the back, and maple for the sides and neck. Ebony is used for the bridge, fingerboard, headplate, pickguard and tailpiece cover. Gold, Gotoh tuners with Ebony buttons are installed. Frets/fretboard are clean and show little wear (see pics). Ebony pickguard indicates no pick marks or nail scratches and the volume and tone controls are attached to and under the pick guard. Fantastic tone quality, low action and visible appeal make playing this guitar a true pleasure. This Eastman AR805CE has only been played in a home studio and is otherwise kept humidified in an Eastman hardshell case. *Note: case has small bruise as indicated in the pics. Eastman AR805CE is 18+ years old, looks like new and sounds magnificent!
