Tech 21 Character Plus English Muffy preamp pedal. Based on the original Character Series Leeds pedal, which itself was based on the Hiwatt amplifier. Features two separate switchable channels, each with its own Character knob that shapes the overall flavor of that channel. Also features a switchable boost option for even more versatility. Pedal has both 1/4” and XLR outputs for direct connection to mixer or FOH. Both outputs incorporate a built in speaker cabinet simulator.

This particular pedal was professionally modified by Mike Putnam of Putnam Guitars to include a push button switch that allows you to defeat the onboard speaker cabinet simulator. This allows you to use your own cab sims or IRs, or leave the cab bypassed and run the pedal into your amps effects return. Please note: the cab sim is only bypassed for the 1/4” out. The XLR will always include the cab sim regardless of switch position. Mike has over 30 years experience and is highly regarded. The mod is a clean, unobtrusive side mounted push button that works perfectly and as intended.

Pedal is in excellent condition and works perfectly. Ships in original box with non-original 9V power supply. Please check my other listings, as I have more pedals for sale. Thanks for looking!
