The Fender American Professional Precision Bass in Aged Cherry Burst pairs an ash body and maple fingerboard with a V-Mod III split-coil pickup and updated American Professional hardware. Its Aged Cherry Burst polyurethane finish is complemented by a four-ply tortoiseshell pickguard, black pickup covers, and nickel/chrome hardware.

The maple neck uses Fender’s Modified 1963 “C” profile with smooth rolled fingerboard edges and a newly sculpted heel for comfortable access higher on the neck. Fender’s “Super-Natural” satin urethane finish covers the back, with gloss urethane on the headstock face. The 9.5"-radius maple fingerboard has 20 Narrow Tall frets, black dot inlays, a 1.625" bone nut, and a 34" scale length.

A single V-Mod III split-coil Precision Bass pickup provides the electronics, controlled by master volume and master tone. ClassicGear Precision potentiometers provide smooth, consistent adjustment while preserving the straightforward passive control layout of the Precision Bass.

The four-saddle HiMass Pro bridge accommodates either string-through-body or top-load stringing. Fender Lightweight Vintage-Style tuning keys feature tapered shafts, while knurled flat-top knobs and a five-bolt asymmetrical neck plate complete the hardware package. A Deluxe Molded hardshell case is included.
