Gibson "Brilliant" Guitar and Bass Catalog 1964
The 1964 Gibson Electric Guitars guitar and bass guitar catalog. Companion to the Gibson Folk Instruments, which featured acoustics, banjos etc and Gibson Crestline Amplifiers catalog produced at the same time. 16 pages. 11 inches x 8 1/2 inches. Full colour cover, two-colour/three-colour printing on other pages. This was the last Gibson catalog (excluding pricelists and flyers of course) not to show instruments in full colour, yet the first to have a full colour cover. The 1966 Gibson catalog was full colour throughout.
This catalog introduces several new models, most notably the Firebird solid body guitars and Thunderbird bass, but also the Tal Farlow Artist jazz guitar, and the ES120T, "created for a volume market". It is the final appearance of the six string EB6 bass.
This is ALL ORIGINAL not a reprint.
