***"B" Stock***

Top 40 Guitars is a Factory Authorized Schecter Dealer. This Guitar is a "B" Stock. A "B" Stock guitar is a guitar that has a cosmetic issue, usually a small scratch or ding that is still under factory warranty. Here is your chance to save some money on a Brand New Guitar because of a small blemish. All Schecter "B" Stock guitars will have a small number "2" stamped into the back of the headstock to identify it as a "B" stock or factory 2nd. This Custom-S, has a paint flaw on the tip of the upper horn. (See pictures #9-#13). That's It! Everything functions and works just fine. Hardly Noticeable. These list at $1599. Here's one for less.

From The Web:

There are metal guitars, and then there's the Schecter Synyster Gates Custom-S solidbody electric guitar. If you're looking for an axe that can withstand the brutal riffing and impossible solos of its namesake, this is the guitar for you. A super-hot Schecter Synyster Gates signature humbucking pickup and Sustainiac humbucker in the neck position provide a solid base for riffing and let you pull off solos that sing forever. And since the Synyster Gates Custom-S also comes equipped with a genuine Floyd Rose 1500 tremolo bridge, you're all set for ultimate pitch control and rock-solid tuning stability.

Crafted for high-tech performance

From its outrageous lines to the 25.5-inch scale length, the Gates Custom-S is built to dish out down-tuned, high-gain riffing. Its 3-piece mahogany neck is carved to a fast profile with great access to all 24 frets. And its ebony fretboard is rounded to a 14-inch radius, letting you grab those huge bends and wide vibrato. Finally, the guitar's extreme contours ensure this guitar is as balanced and comfortable as it is aggressive. If metal is your thing, you really can't go wrong with this instrument.

Powerful and flexible pair of humbuckers

You'll be hard pressed to beat the sustain and attack you'll get out of this guitar's high-output Schecter Synyster Gates signature humbucking pickup at the bridge position. This high-output pickup design features ceramic-8 magnets for higher output while retaining plenty of upper-harmonic cut. Blend that with the Sustainiac pickup in the neck position, and you are in total control of a searing tone.

Genuine Floyd Rose 1500 bridge

Schecter knows that players who prefer the heavier side of music demand absolute performance from their guitars. That's why they loaded the Synyster Gates Custom-S with a Floyd Rose 1500 double-locking tremolo bridge. A remake of the original Floyd Rose blade tremolo, this incredible bridge lets you dive and pull up to the extreme while never having to worry about tuning accuracy. You'll get both the rock-solid reliability and the tight response you need when you strap on the Synyster Gates Custom-S.
