This Porta One came to me in great condition with some minor issues. Track 3 was playing back low and distorted and through diagnoses i found that the fader was not acting as intended so it was replaced with a fader of the exact same model. The transport mechanism (the part that makes the tape move) was essentially fully torn down, cleaned, greased, and fixed. I also cleaned all potentiometers, knobs, switches, and other important connections. Fully tested and working. These machines are anywhere from 35-40 years old and require regular maintenance and upkeep so keep that in mind when making a purchase. All of the internal electrical components are original to the manufacturing date of this machine. A lot of sellers don’t necessarily know what the machine does or if it is in working condition so do as much research as possible.
