Yamaha YAS-200ADII Alto Saxophone – Very Good Condition, Freshly Serviced, Perfectly In Tune, Ready to Play, Priced to Sell

This Yamaha YAS-200ADII alto is in very good overall condition and ready to play. There’s normal cosmetic wear — scratches, scuffs, and a few dings, some of them on the bell. None of that affects the sound at all. It went through a professional service a few days ago, I play tested it several times after that, and it sounds incredible. It’s in tune. Tone holes are in great shape. Pads seal evenly with no air leaks. There’s also a slight bit of cork wear on the end of the neck, but it’s not nearly enough to need a replacement and it doesn’t change how the horn plays or sounds.

The action feels sorted under the fingers. Keys travel evenly, springs come back quickly without feeling stiff, and soft notes speak cleanly. The middle register has that warm, centered Yamaha core with decent projection when you dig in, and the upper end stays focused. After the service and those extra play tests, it feels finished. You can put a reed on and play right away.

The 200ADII is Yamaha’s Advantage student alto, the model a lot of school programs used for years. Same reliable pitch and durable build as the other Yamaha student altos, and it holds up well once it’s set up. The small cosmetic marks and the minor neck cork wear don’t change any of that.

Three brand new Vandoren reeds are included so you can get started right away. If you’re looking for a dependable YAS-200ADII that’s already been serviced, checked more than once, and ready to play, this one is a solid option. It’s priced to sell. Feel free to message with any questions!
