Shell Construction & Sonic Profile

4-Ply Maple/Poplar Shell: Built using an ultra-thin, electronically bonded 4-ply maple/poplar shell paired with 4-ply reinforcement rings. This classic combination delivers a wide tuning range, incredible ghost-note sensitivity, and a famously fat, warm, and woody punch.

30-Degree Baseball Bat Edges: Features Dunnett's vintage-spec "LA Camco" 30-degree bearing edges. This increases head-to-shell contact, yielding a deeper fundamental pitch, outstanding low-end body, and a naturally controlled sustain that sounds perfect right out of the box.
