A vintage Donald E. Getzen Signature alto horn made by Willson in Switzerland, likely from the 1970s (estimated). It is stamped on the bell “Donald E. Getzen Signature, DEG Products, Lake Geneva, Wis.,” with “Willson Swiss Made” on the valve casing. It has three piston valves with mother-of-pearl buttons, a compact cornet-style design, and a front-facing bell. Serial number 8070. It’s a rare piece for brass collectors and multi-instrument players. The brass and lacquer are in nice shape for its age, and it has a hard case and a mouthpiece.

Condition disclosure: One valve is stuck and won’t depress. This is sold as-is and priced accordingly. It may just need cleaning or a valve repair, but I haven’t had it looked at by a tech.
