For sale is my JPTR FX Katastrophe Sludgefest Dominator Distortion Pre Amp, a powerful high-gain distortion and preamp pedal designed for everything from classic heavy rock to crushing doom and sludge tones.

Based around the sound of a heavily modified British full stack, the Katastrophe delivers huge amounts of gain whilst retaining note definition and articulation. It works equally well as a distortion pedal into a clean amp or as a complete preamp solution, making it an incredibly versatile addition to any rig.

The pedal features an extensive EQ section, allowing precise shaping of everything from thick, low-end-heavy doom sounds to tighter modern high-gain tones. The built-in analogue octave-up circuit adds an extra layer of aggression and can be engaged independently via its dedicated footswitch.

Whether you're playing doom, stoner rock, sludge, post-metal or heavy alternative music, the Katastrophe offers an impressive range of tones and a huge amount of flexibility.
