Beautiful Midnight Blue/Deep Purple Strat with maple neck, mahogany fretboard and tortoiseshell pickguard in excellent condition.

Pickups and wiring have been upgraded at significant expense- wiring is Bloodstone's 9-way loom, which upgrades all pots to CTS, replaces stock tone capacitors with far superior "Orange drop" types and significantly improves wiring and switches.

Plus adds an extra 3-way switch to allow humbucking and Telecaster tones to each pickup position, making this the most versatile Strat I've ever owned. (see eBay listing for Bloodstone's 9-wayStrat wiring upgrade).

Pickups have been upgraded to Iron Gear Pig Irons, an overwound Strat specific single coil pickup that enhances the 'Strat' sound, whether you're after a Dave Gilmour or Jimi Hendrix sound (both in my case).

All in all, £155 of sound and versatility upgrades.

The guitar has been professionally set up, so it has perfect octaves and I've engineered a floating tremolo system that allows mild pitch increases as well as decreases.

Used only very lightly for a recording project that needed to recreate a ton of Jimi Hendrix tones from divebombing hard rock to twangy clean, which it did perfectly.
