The EVH Limited Edition Wolfgang Special 2015 Tour Edition in Distressed Ivory recreates one of Eddie Van Halen's most distinctive touring instruments from the 2015 "A Different Kind of Truth" tour. EVH's Wolfgang backshape measures approximately .805" at the third fret and .890" at the twelfth, while the ebony fingerboard uses a 12" to 16" compound radius and 22 jumbo frets for comfortable rhythm work down low and a flatter feel for bends and fast lead playing higher up the neck. A heel-mounted truss rod wheel makes routine neck relief adjustments easy, and the 25.5" scale keeps the response tight and familiar.

Direct-mounted EVH Wolfgang humbuckers provide the clear, powerful sound this platform is known for, with an AL2 bridge pickup and AL3 neck pickup covering everything from aggressive rhythm tones to sustained leads. The low-friction 500K volume pot is designed for quick swells, while the higher-friction 250K tone control is less likely to move accidentally during aggressive playing. An EVH-branded Floyd Rose locking tremolo, R2 locking nut, brass tremolo block, and D-Tuna provide serious pitch control and instant Drop D access, while a momentary kill switch adds another performance tool. We think this limited Wolfgang gets the balance right between collectible Eddie-specific details and the practical hardware needed for demanding stage use.
