1980s Fender Japan E-Series Stratocaster – Made in Japan
For sale is a vintage Fender Japan E-Series Stratocaster, serial number E784753, dating to approximately 1984–1987.
This guitar features a beautiful aged white finish, a large 1960s-style headstock with a transition-style Fender logo, and a maple neck with what appears to be a maple cap fingerboard.
Based on its specifications, it appears to be a late-1960s-style reissue, possibly an ST67-series model. However, the exact model designation has not been verified.

Condition:
The guitar is approximately 40 years old and shows considerable cosmetic wear, including numerous scratches, dings, finish chips, and signs of aging throughout the body and neck.
There is a visible crack near the neck pocket that appears to be a finish crack.
The fretboard and frets show signs of use, and there is a slight difference in the spacing between the outer strings and the fretboard edges, as shown in the photos. I do not consider this to be a defect, as it does not significantly affect normal playability.
I have not experienced any string slipping off the fretboard during normal playing.
High E and B strings occasionally fret out during bends around the 12th fret. A setup or fret adjustment may be needed.
The guitar remains playable and has not been professionally inspected or serviced recently.
The rear tremolo cavity cover and arm are missing.
