Product Details

The BOSS DS-1 is a distortion pedal known for its orange casing.

As one of BOSS's flagship compact effects pedals, it has been popular in a wide range of genres, especially rock.

Its appeal lies in its combination of simple operation and distinctive distortion, adding power and sharpness to guitar sounds.

It's a classic distortion pedal that has been chosen by many guitarists for many years.

This model features three controls: LEVEL, TONE, and DISTORTION, allowing for intuitive sound shaping.

LEVEL adjusts the output volume, TONE controls the emphasis on high frequencies, and DISTORTION allows for a wide range of settings, from light distortion to heavy distortion.

Despite its simple configuration, the combination of each control allows for a variety of expressions, enabling you to pursue your preferred sound while exploring its compatibility with your amplifier and guitar.

The easy-to-use pedal shape is also a characteristic of BOSS.

The sound is characterized by a sharp attack and a gritty distortion. When playing chords, it delivers a rich, nuanced harmonic richness, while single-note lead playing offers a sharp, sustained distortion.
Setting the DISTORTION level moderately allows for crisp, articulate sounds that highlight the nuances of your picking.
Deepening the distortion brings out a powerful, rock-like drive.
The TONE setting allows you to adjust the tone from bright and aggressive to a more subdued texture, ensuring it stands out in a band ensemble.

With its simple operation, this pedal lets you fully experience the allure of rock sounds, making it a must-have distortion pedal.
From crisp riffs to powerful lead playing, it powerfully supports your guitar expression.
Its ease of use, a hallmark of BOSS pedals, is another attractive feature, making it a recommended distortion option for your pedalboard.

Don't miss this opportunity to purchase it.

[Condition] The back label is peeling and the guide bushing is missing. The Level knob has been replaced with one with a gold top surface. There is also peeling on the top surfaces of the Tone and Distortion knobs.
There is also significant paint peeling and signs of use. Therefore, it would be a great bargain for those who don't mind the appearance.
Of course, the operation has been confirmed.
