The Fender American Professional Stratocaster in Dark Night combines its distinctive finish with a maple fingerboard and the updated hardware and electronics of Fender’s American Professional platform. The alder body is paired with a four-ply tortoiseshell pickguard and aged white plastics, giving the contemporary finish a traditional Stratocaster backdrop.

A maple Deep “C” neck features rolled fingerboard edges and Fender’s “Super-Natural” satin urethane finish on the back, with gloss urethane on the headstock face. The maple fingerboard has a 9.5" radius, 22 Narrow Tall frets, black dot inlays, a bone nut, and a 25.5" scale length.

Three V-Mod III Stratocaster single-coil pickups are controlled by ClassicGear Precision potentiometers. The standard five-position blade is supplemented by a push-push tone control that adds the neck pickup, with separate tone circuits for the neck/middle and bridge pickups.

The two-point synchronized tremolo incorporates ClassicGear Radial bent-steel saddles, a cold-rolled steel block, and pop-in tremolo arm. Fender Standard staggered sealed tuners and an asymmetrical four-bolt neck plate with Micro-Tilt adjustment complete the setup. A Deluxe Molded hardshell case is included.
