The Fender American Professional Jazzmaster in Black updates the offset design with V-Mod III pickups, expanded series switching, and Fender’s Panorama tremolo system. Its alder body is finished in Black polyurethane and paired with a rosewood fingerboard, four-ply tortoiseshell pickguard, aged white pickup covers, and Witch Hat knobs.
The maple neck features a Deep “C” profile with smooth rolled fingerboard edges and a sculpted heel for easier access to the upper register. Its “Super-Natural” satin urethane finish covers the back of the neck, while the headstock face is gloss urethane. The 9.5"-radius rosewood fingerboard carries 22 Narrow Tall frets, white dot inlays, and a bone nut.
Two V-Mod III single-coil Jazzmaster pickups provide the electronics, with a three-position toggle handling standard bridge, bridge-and-neck, and neck selections. The rhythm circuit places both pickups in series and provides independent thumbwheel volume and tone controls. A push-push lead tone control taps the bridge pickup for its lower-output vintage setting.
The Panorama Jazzmaster tremolo provides a wide range of pitch movement and is paired with a pop-in arm and ClassicGear J-Bridge. Fender Standard staggered cast/sealed tuning machines and an asymmetrical four-bolt neck plate with Micro-Tilt adjustment complete the instrument.
