The Fender American Professional Jazzmaster Rosewood in 3-Color Sunburst marks a fresh chapter in Fender's modern professional lineup. You've seen the original American Professional, the American Professional II, and the American Professional Classic. This refreshed American Professional Series receives several targeted refinements aimed at expanding both tone and stability. Its V-Mod III pickups use Alnico 4 magnets, while the bridge incorporates compensated brass saddles for improved intonation. A push-push tone control accesses a lower-output vintage-style bridge voice, and the upper-horn switch engages Series Mode for a thicker, more powerful sound than a traditional Jazzmaster rhythm circuit. Hard to go wrong with a classic 3-Color Sunburst with a 3-ply Tortoise Guard, and with it's new accompaniments,

The Deep "C" maple neck features rolled fingerboard edges, a 9.5" radius, and Fender's "Super-Natural" satin urethane finish for a smooth, comfortable feel. A sculpted neck heel improves access to the upper register, while 22 narrow tall frets provide a familiar balance for rhythm and lead work. V-Mod III Jazzmaster single-coils deliver the sparkle and chime associated with the model, while the bridge pickup tap provides a lower-output vintage-style voice and the rhythm circuit places both pickups in series for a thicker, higher-output sound.

The Panorama Jazzmaster Tremolo with pop-in arm provides everything from subtle vibrato to deeper pitch movement, while the ClassicGear J-Bridge improves intonation and stability. Fender staggered sealed tuners, a bone nut, and Micro-Tilt neck adjustment round out a practical setup for regular stage and studio use. We think this is an excellent choice for players who want the unmistakable feel of a Jazzmaster with a broader tonal range and hardware designed around modern performance.
