The Fender American Professional Jazzmaster Rosewood in Dark Night marks a fresh chapter in Fender's modern professional lineup. You've seen the original American Professional, the American Professional II, and the American Professional Classic. This refreshed American Professional Series brings those ideas forward into Fender's latest take on a modern, professional-grade workhorse. The Dark Night finish, black pickguard, black pickup covers, and black knobs give this version the most contemporary look in the Jazzmaster lineup, while the updated electronics and tremolo system make it one of the most versatile offset options in the series.

The Deep "C" maple neck features rolled fingerboard edges, a 9.5" radius, and Fender's "Super-Natural" satin urethane finish for a smooth feel across the entire neck. A sculpted heel improves access to the upper register, while 22 narrow tall frets provide an easy balance between rhythm work and lead playing. V-Mod III Jazzmaster single-coils retain the sparkle and chime players expect, while the bridge pickup tap adds a lower-output vintage-style option and the rhythm circuit engages both pickups in series for a thicker, higher-output tone.

The Panorama Tremolo with pop-in arm provides a wide range of expressive pitch movement, while the ClassicGear J-Bridge keeps setup, intonation, and stability practical for regular use. Fender staggered sealed tuners, a bone nut, and Micro-Tilt neck adjustment complete a hardware package built around reliability. We think the Dark Night version is a strong choice for players who want the most modern-looking take on the refreshed American Professional Jazzmaster without giving up the offset feel and tonal character that define the model.
