Yamaha John "JR" Robinson Signature Snare Drum 14x5.5"
A fantastic and rather uncommon Yamaha John "JR" Robinson Signature snare drum!
Designed in collaboration with legendary session drummer John "JR" Robinson, known for his work with Michael Jackson, Quincy Jones, Madonna, Steve Winwood, and countless other artists.
This signature model features a birch shell with a unique construction incorporating 20 copper nails around the top bearing edge. This distinctive design gives the drum its own character, delivering a crisp, powerful attack, a focused tone, and excellent sensitivity.
The 14x5.5" size makes it a versatile snare, equally at home in the recording studio or on stage.
A great example of Yamaha's innovative signature series and a relatively rare model that doesn't come up for sale very often.
