【Model Features】

A 2024 model; while the story behind "Greeny" is shrouded in mystery, few guitars shine as brightly. "Greeny" is one of the most iconic original Les Paul™ Standards ever made, boasting a sound as unique as the instrument itself. Formerly owned by Peter Green—who used it during his time with Fleetwood Mac—it was later sold to Gary Moore, who played it for three decades as a member of Thin Lizzy and as a solo artist. Now owned by Kirk Hammett, Greeny has supported the playing of three legendary guitarists; this is the regular production model based on that instrument.

【Sound】

Bridge Pickup Tone: Unlike modern pickups that rely on sheer power, this captures the nuances of your picking dynamics. When you increase the gain, it delivers the kind of crisp, articulate riffs characteristic of Kirk Hammett’s playing.

Neck Pickup Tone: A thick, mellow, yet clear Les Paul sound that never feels sluggish or muddy in the low end. It offers incredibly rich sustain and an exquisite, "aged" blues tone.

Mixed Tone: Featuring out-of-phase wiring, it produces a unique, nasal tone distinct from the standard Les Paul sound. By slightly rolling back the volume knobs, you can adjust the intensity of the phase effect, allowing for a wide range of sounds—from a thick, solid tone to a dry, percussive rhythm tone.

【Specifications & Details】

・Out-of-Phase Sound

Because the neck pickup’s magnet is flipped and mounted in reverse, selecting the middle position on the toggle switch produces a distinctive "out-of-phase" sound. This is the secret behind the bluesy, overdriven tone that became a trademark of early Fleetwood Mac and Gary Moore.・Equipped with "Greenybucker" pickups

These new pickups were developed specifically for this model to recreate the iconic tone favored by legends like Peter Green and Gary Moore. Developed under the guidance of current owner Kirk Hammett, they replicate the fundamental characteristics of PAF humbuckers—such as unbalanced coils (where the number of turns intentionally differs between the two coils) and unpolished Alnico 2 magnets.

・The top features stunning 3A-grade figured maple, finished with an all-lacquer satin coating.

【Condition】

There is slight dulling on the hardware and minor scuffing on the back panel, but the body and neck show no signs of wear; the instrument is in pristine condition and appears to have been played very little.

Neck: No issues with warping or twisting.

Frets: No wear.

Truss Rod: Plenty of adjustment room remaining.

Original hard case included.
