Vintage 1990's Fender Silver Label Molded Hard Shell Case for Strat Plus

History of the Red Label Case: The iconic molded, form-fit "chainsaw" or "silhouette" cases used for USA Fender Stratocasters and Telecasters in the 1990s were manufactured by SKB Cases out of Anaheim, California. The primary version used during most of the decade (1991–1998) featured a raised guitar silhouette on the plastic shell and a small recessed pocket holding a red Fender logo plate, causing players to widely refer to them as "Red Badge" or "Red Label" cases. Variants provided with premium models like the Strat Plus or Ultra featured silver plates instead. These cases are not available new anymore, so they have become highly sought-after by collectors and players looking to pair a period-correct, authentic case with an American Standard Stratocaster or Telecaster from that era

Condition: Our used cases and gig bags have been tested and verified to work as they should. Used and vintage items will show signs of use. Please see photos. If you want a cosmetically "perfect" item, we recommend that you buy new in a factory sealed package. None of our used cases will be cosmetically "perfect".

Shipping: If you’re adding a case to your guitar order, we will ship your guitar inside it for better protection and there is no added shipping cost for the case with paid shipping on the guitar.  

Delivery Time: We ship guitars via UPS ground.  Once UPS receives it, they will estimate a delivery date, which you can access via Reverb. UPS will typically deliver your guitar within 2 to 7 business depending on your distance from Southern California.  If you're in a hurry, please let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate you, or at least we can advise you of the estimated wait, so you can decide if you need to make other arrangements.
