Representing high-performance boutique design, the James Tyler Studio Elite HDX features an alder body finished in a semi-gloss Antarctic Shmear with a Blue Fade running from the bottom to the horns. Weighing 7 lbs 9 oz, it features a quartersawn maple neck with an ST64 profile, a 1-5/8" nut, and a maple fingerboard accented by Lite Denim inlays and wide/tall frets, topped with a natural headstock and silver standard logo. Outfitted in an HSS configuration with Seymour Duncan Classic Stack neck and middle pickups paired with a James Tyler Super humbucker in the bridge, its electronics suite includes a 5-way selector, active Midboost preamp with bypass switch, series/parallel switching, an add-neck/bridge toggle, and a dedicated battery compartment.
