Here we have a pre owned Boss HM-2 Heavy Metal Distortion Pedal.  Made in Japan in 1984.  This pedal needs no introduction as it is known for its classic high gain distortion tones. Controls for Level, Color Mix (Low and High) and Distortion.  Powered by a 9v battery or a Boss ACA 12-volt dc adapter (not included).  This HM-2 has been tested and is working perfectly.   Cosmetically, it is in good shape.  There are paint scuffs and chips on all sides. Rubber pad and label in are in great shape. The battery screw rubber washer has wear.  The DIST knob on the far right is a little bit bent. It still turns smoothly. The footpad has some discoloration.  This pedal sounds killer and is perfect for that early heavy metal sound.  Thanks for looking and happy buying
