Good condition, full working order. A few scratches and marks here and there for a 46 year old pedal but all cosmetic, functions flawlessly. This is the V3 version of the Small Stone Phase Shifter, dated 1980 on the volume pot. All the old capacitors have been replaced to ensure years of good use ahead. Bought from Mouser, capacitor brands include: Vishay Dale, WIMA, Sprague, Panasonic, etc. All capacitors installed with outer foil to lowest impedance where possible to ensure low background noise. True bypass switch installed, on/off LED. The battery connection has been replaced with a 9v Lumberg-brand power jack for ease of pedal board use. A full power filtering section has been installed, whereas in its stock form the pedal came with almost none - extremely quiet operation now. AC ripple smoothing, RC low pass filter, high frequency power filtering and also a reverse polarity protection diode. The volume potentiometer and black plastic knob have been upgraded to brand new ones bought direct from Love My Switches. No scratchy operation and very smooth sweep. I'll include the original 1980 pot and knob though. The "volume mod" has been performed on the pedal. Now there is no volume loss between the on/off signal, a frequent complaint of the Small Stone. The "treble mod" has also been performed. The original stock circuit was famed for shaving off just a bit of the high end from your signal - now it is exactly the same with no treble loss. The input and output jacks have both been replaced with high quality jacks bought from Love My Switches. The back battery compartment cover is missing the screw and I have taken off the battery grip. The cover is held in place with duct tape but you can remove the cover in order to apply the pedal to your pedal board with velcro if need be. A vintage classic from Electro-Harmonix, upgraded with all the modern conveniences and modifications for perfect functioning and years of playability ahead.
