VINTAGE Circa 1992 Epiphone (by Gibson) S-310 electric guitar.

Introduced in 1989 as part of Epiphone’s "S-Series," the Epiphone S-310 was Gibson's entry-level answer to Fender's Stratocaster, competing directly against Fender’s Squier model. Production ran from 1989 through 1999, manufactured by Samick in South Korea.

This Epiphone S-310 features a boutique custom textured Black “Sparkle” after-market finish, features “bathtub” body routing under the pickguard, 1.5-inch thick, 7.25 pound laminate body, 25.5" scale neck, 22 frets, with "Batwing" inline headstock featuring a maple fretboard, upgraded tuning machine heads, mother of pearl style Epiphone logo, and 1 & 9/16ths inch nut. Fret edges have been smoothed & polished, string height and pickup height optimized, and a full “set-up” performed (a $100. value at local “Guitar Centers”).

Stock electronics consist of 3 single-coil 7.7 ohm pickups, a 5-way selector switch, 1 volume, and 2 tone controls.

Hardware includes a 2-Point Tremolo Bridge which features:

·Reduced Friction: Pivoting on knife edges against two posts eliminates the binding common to six wood screws, helping the bridge return to pitch consistently.

·Easier Height Adjustment: Action baseline can be raised or lowered by turning the two main post bolts directly, giving greater flexibility for floating setups.

·Smoother Pitch Bending: Requires less physical pressure on the arm and allows deeper pitch drops and upward bends without binding.

Cosmetics: "Very Good" condition typically assumes minor pick swirls, faint surface scratches, or light hardware oxidation typical on a 30+ year old previously owned guitar.
