The Hammond XK-5 has truly won the "award" for closest B3 simulation all around: keyboard action, the organ's behavior response to playing motions, drawbars and selectors, and above all: that SOUND. Over and over, professionals have praised this organ as the closest to the real thing they have encountered. I won't list specs here because that's kind of irrelevant for an instrument at this level. It's very much like owning an actual Hammond B3...just of course, without that weight. An optional lower manual is available for it if you want to expand it to a two manual version.

I originally bought this only on July 30 (to be exact)....thinking I wanted every option to be available in my studio, and this is the best. I have simply overshot my ambitions as far as what I truly need, and can't really justify keeping this. They are hard to find "used", which is further testimony to just how good an instrument this is. It will be packed in its original heavy duty shipping container. Please see my feedback.
