Now available, an original 1957 Gibson Les Paul Junior.

This is an exceptional sounding but cared for Les Paul Junior from one of the best years of their production. It features a single piece 1 1/4 inch mahogany body, and a perfectly shaped medium chunky single piece mahogany neck. The original p90 pickup is untouched and strong at 8.2k ohms, and the wiring harness remains untouched with two responsive Centralab pots, and the original PIO bumblebee capacitor in place. The original Kluson tuners are present and working well, however the tips were replaced as the originals have crumbled away.

Aside from that, every single part on this junior is dead stock. Original frets, small but with plenty of life, enough chips, scratches and dents to prove this was a dearly loved and played guitar. Despite some use, the silkscreen logos are in great condition, as is the stamped serial number.

The finish itself is well preserved with the typical scrapes and light finish checking. It’s hard not to ramble about a guitar like this, it really is so pure and enjoyable, wonderful to play acoustically and plugged in, with an extraordinary pickup that delivers in every volume and tonal range.

Set up and strung with 10-46 strings, it includes a correct 'croc skin' soft case in rough condition.
