G&L ASAT Classic Swamp Ash Natural 2005 MIK Korea

I've owned about ten G&L guitars, USA and Tribute, and this one is on par with USA models and better than all the other Tributes I've had or played. In my experience, the Korean Tributes are better! The neck is fantastic and the electronics are perfect. The tone is heavenly.

There are no blemishes on this guitar. There is minimal fret wear and the pickguard shows light wear. Another detail to point out is that it does not have "Tribute" in large lettering like some of the later Korean models did.

Other things to keep in mind about this guitar:

• Highly Desirable 2005 Korean Era (Cort Factory): Guitar players specifically hunt down mid-2000s Tributes because the build quality, fretwork, and wood selection out of the Korean factory are widely considered superior to the later Indonesian-made models.
• Genuine USA-Made Fullerton MFD Pickups: A lot of buyers don't realize that even though the guitar was assembled in Korea, G&L shipped their exact USA-wound Magnetic Field Design pickups over from California to put into these guitars. It has the true USA tone.
• Solid Premium Swamp Ash Body with Natural Finish: You are getting premium tonewood with a gorgeous, visible cathedral grain pattern, not a cheap basswood or poplar body hidden under solid paint.
