The 00-18 is one of Martin's oldest 14-fret flat tops, offering a wide range of tonal variety in a compact body. A solid Sitka spruce top paired with solid mahogany provides the player a sweet midrange response without too much brightness. The low-end is surprisingly boomy for a guitar this size, making it suitable for finger-style players as well as chord strummers. New for 2025, the entire Standard Series features a Golden Era (GE) high-performance neck taper with a modified low oval neck profile as well as GE top bracing, harkening back to Martin's famous guitars of the '30s and '40s. This guitar is perfect for songwriting sessions, jams, and even live performances. Get the classic that isn't talked about nearly enough.
