You are looking at a Maxon D&S distortion fuzz pedal. The pedal is in a very good cosmetic condition and perfect working order. Upon checking the serial number, this was made right at the 1st production era, you can verify that info yourself if you wish to do so. The genius Japanese engineers took the big muff pedal at the time and dissected it! They addressed all the short coming of the big muff, such as, improvement of the mid range, no more being lost in the mix or the need to boost with another pedal. Well balanced, not bass heavy. More volume, more distortion. Truly the perfect muff. The reissues carry the same name, but sound totally different! And the D&S ll is nothing but an overdrive pedal. This pedal rocks! Buy it from me, buy it from someone else! If you like the perfect sound of the big muff pedal, this pedal is for you.
