Yellowcake Foom 2022
Minty Yellowcake Foom Fuzz pedal with box.
Pedal was fully tested and works as it should with no issues.
The Yellowcake FOOM is a specialized, boutique one-knob fuzzdrive guitar pedal designed and hand-wired in the USA by Ryan McCay, the owner of Yellowcake Pedals. Released in 2022, this pedal is custom-tailored for a heavily distorted, gritty tone that appeals directly to musicians in the doom, sludge, and heavy rock genres.
Key Specifications & Features
- Tone Profile: It delivers a heavy, "Muff-like" fuzz with a distinct, velcro-esque style grit.
- Optimized for Drop Tuning: It is specifically engineered to handle down-tuned or baritone guitars flawlessly, maintaining low-end clarity without getting muddy.
- Control Layout: Features a minimalist single-knob interface ("one-knob fuzz") designed to be a straightforward, plug-and-play heavy hitter.
- Build Quality: Built using a durable powder-coated and UV-printed enclosure and meticulously hand-wired.
- Power Requirements: Operates via a standard 2.1mm negative center 9VDC adapter. The manufacturer explicitly notes that it performs best when running on an isolated power supply.
