Up for sale is a stunning PRS SE A50E Angelus Acoustic-Electric guitar, manufactured in June of 2022 .

Sitting near the top of the SE acoustic tier, the A50E is a premium instrument that perfectly captures Paul Reed Smith's legendary attention to detail, offering stunning aesthetics and an uncommon 3-dimensional voice.

Condition:

• Excellent condition throughout with only the faintest signs of careful use.
• No major dings, deep scratches, or fret wear.
• Kept in a climate-controlled, smoke-free environment.

Premium Tonewoods & 3D Character

• Solid Sitka Spruce Top: Delivers exceptional clarity, a massive dynamic range, and strong projection. [1, 2]
• Stunning Flamed Maple Back & Sides: This is where the A50E truly shines. The gorgeous figure of the maple gives the guitar incredible visual depth and provides a bright, crisp tone with tight note definition that cleanly cuts through any mix.
• Mahogany Neck & Premium Ebony Fretboard: Built with a stable mahogany neck shaped to the comfortable PRS Wide Fat profile, paired with a premium ebony fingerboard and matching ebony bridge (features rarely found at this price tier!).

How the A50E Outclasses Lower SE ModelsThe SE A50E is a major structural and visual leap over entry and mid-tier models like the A20E or A40E:

• The "X"/Classical Hybrid Bracing: Unlike the baseline A20E which uses standard, traditional X-bracing, the A50E utilizes PRS’s proprietary Hybrid "X"/Classical bracing pattern borrowed from their elite Private Stock line. It combines a sturdy X-brace behind the bridge with classical-style fan bracing across the belly, allowing the solid top to vibrate much more freely for enhanced volume and nuance.
• Abalone Purfling vs. Plastic Inlays: Lower-tier models feature plain cream or black binding. The A50E features premium, iridescent abalone top body edge purfling and a matching abalone rosette that captures light beautifully on stage.

• Sonics: While mahogany (A20E) yields a darker, dry tone and ovangkol (A40E) acts as a standard midrange all-rounder, the flamed maple on this A50E adds an incredibly articulate, fast acoustic attack.

Stage-Ready Electronics & Pro Hardware

• PRS-Voiced Fishman Sonitone System: Upgraded for the 2022 model year with a specialized internal EQ voiced directly in Paul Reed Smith’s home studio. It translates a remarkably warm, organic, and natural voice when plugged into an amp or PA.
• Discreet Soundhole-Mounted Controls: Features low-profile Volume and Tone dials mounted neatly inside the upper edge of the soundhole. This leaves the clean lines of the acoustic body unmarred by heavy plastic preamp boxes.
• Pro Hardpoint Hardware: Factory-equipped with a real bone nut and compensated bone saddle for supreme sustain and vibration transfer.
• Fitted Tolex Hardshell Case: While lower models like the A20E only ship with a soft gig bag, this premium A50E comes with its original, fitted black tolex hardshell case.
