Hoyer Flying V Arrow Electric Guitar Project (Missing Parts)
Silver Refin Project
With Case
PLEASE READ – SOLD AS A RESTORATION PROJECT / PARTS OR REPAIR
Up for sale is a rare and unusual Hoyer Flying Arrow electric guitar, most likely dating to the late 1970s. These German-made guitars are not something you come across every day, and the Flying Arrow is particularly recognizable for its unique asymmetrical Flying V-style body and distinctive headstock design.
This example has been refinished somewhere along the line (was not reassembled since) in a gloss silver finish and features gold and brass hardware, along with the distinctive engraved Hoyer Flying Arrow headstock plate. Some parts are original and some are not...
This guitar is incomplete and being sold as a restoration project. It will need the following parts to be complete and playable:
- Both pickups
- All electronics, including controls and wiring
- Neck pickup mounting ring
- Tuning machine mounting screws
The good news is that this is a solid piece and will come together easily if you have parts. The neck is straight, the truss rod operates as it should, and the frets are in great shape, as pictured. The bridge, tailpiece, and tuning machines are present.
The guitar shows minor cosmetic imperfections consistent with age and moving it around since its previous refinishing. Please examine all pictures carefully for an accurate representation of its current condition.
