General information:
The Cesar Diaz Texas
Ranger is a legendary, highly sought-after boutique boost and overdrive guitar pedal
designed by the late Cesar Diaz, who famously served as Stevie Ray Vaughan's guitar technician.
Features and Sound
• Design Basis: It is built as a unique variation of the classic Dallas Rangemaster treble booster used by artists like Eric Clapton and Rory Gallagher.
- 3-Way EQ Switch: Cesar Diaz added a rotary switch featuring Hi (Glass/Bite), Mid (Fat/Tube), and Lo (Growl/Wood) settings.
- Volume Cleanup: The pedal reacts heavily to a guitar's volume knob, letting players roll back for glassy clean tones or turn up for saturated blues-rock tones.
