The EC-01FT delivers a comfortable, fast playing experience thanks to its thin U-contour neck and flat-top mahogany body. The set-thru construction couples the neck directly to the body for enhanced sustain and resonance, while the brushed matte black pickguard and sleek black finish create a visually striking instrument. This is a versatile workhorse designed for players who demand both playability and tonal character without unnecessary frills.
Playability & ConstructionBuilt with a 3-piece mahogany neck and macassar ebony fingerboard, the EC-01FT offers excellent stability and a smooth playing surface. The 22 XJ stainless steel frets are durable and maintain their polish through years of use, while the thin U neck contour and 24.75" scale make this guitar accessible for extended playing sessions. The set-thru construction anchors the neck deep into the body, maximizing tonal response and sustain.
Tone & ElectronicsThe Seymour Duncan Custom 14 bridge pickup (an ESP exclusive) delivers focused, articulate output with strong midrange presence ideal for rock and metal applications. The master volume push/pull control allows quick switching between full and slightly rolled-back gain, while the passive electronics keep the signal path simple and direct—no batteries required. Stock D'Addario XL110 strings (.010–.046) provide balanced tension across the 24.75" scale.
