What it sounds like

• Higher gain: Gets into classic-rock territory, although it isn't really a modern high-gain distortion pedal.
• Pick dynamics: It responds well to picking—you can get cleaner sounds by playing lightly and more drive by digging in.
• Single coils: Particularly good for adding body and thickness to Strat/Tele-type pickups.
• Humbuckers: The new Bass Cut control is especially useful for preventing the sound from becoming overly thick.
