Meinl BYZANCE POLYPHONIC Crash 19” PERFECT!

No need to pay nearly $430 on a guess on a stock photo Meinl! Listen away so that you can buy with confidence.

Meinl has made a cannonball-ed-sized splash in the cymbal world with their Byzance Series and crash cymbals like this one are the reason why.
Meinl BYZANCE POLYPHONIC in a generous 19” size and in IMMACULATE Condition!!! Perfect!
Weighing only 1628 grams this 19” is indeed THIN - but it still has quite the ability to cut - it’s very complex and full sounding! And it makes a hell of a beautiful 19” LIGHT COMPLEX RIDE too. Smaller and controlled but very versatile.
That RAW BELL helps with projection while the lower profile and thinner weight keeps it DARK!

And it’s dark and complex nature makes it a natural choice for jazz. But it’s not just reserved for that genre.
Meinl describes this Polyphonic Crash as:
“Their hammered and lathed surfaces, warm sounds and selection of models may be very traditional, but these cymbals are the ultimate choice when it comes to versatility. Rides with a buttery-soft feel. Crashes that range from dark and shimmering with thin models, to powerful and focused with heavier ones. Traditional tone and sonic individuality come together in each of these cymbals.”
And that is all accurate. However I would add that this being the larger 19” version it has a great rich, fullness to it.
Dark. Very complex but anchored in the medium low pitched frequencies. Responsive but still full enough to project when you really lay into the edge.
Medium low profile.
Can easily be used as a Light Complex Ride. Incredibly versatile!
Immaculate and only played for the video. And not l more money for a big box store guess at tone.
