AKG WMS40 Mini Single Instrumental Set Wireless Microphone System - Band A

The AKG WMS40 Mini delivers wireless freedom without sacrificing clarity and presence on stage or in the studio. This compact single-channel system pairs a lightweight PT40 Mini pocket transmitter with an ultra-compact SR40 Mini receiver, giving you the mobility to move naturally while maintaining rock-solid signal strength and tonal consistency. The system is engineered for instrumentalists and vocalists who demand professional audio quality in a genuinely portable package.

Design & Portability

The PT40 Mini transmitter is the smallest and lightest in its class, designed to sit comfortably on your belt or instrument strap without adding bulk or weight. The SR40 Mini receiver features ultra-compact housing with a 1/4" jack output and three status LEDs for monitoring power, signal strength (RF OK), and audio clipping (AF CLIP), making it easy to integrate into any rig without taking up valuable real estate.

Audio Performance & Battery Life

The system delivers a warm, articulate tone with impressive rejection of feedback and ambient noise, backed by a 110 dB(A) signal-to-noise ratio and 0.8% THD at 1 kHz for transparent audio reproduction. A single AA battery powers the transmitter for up to 30 hours of continuous operation, and the included universal switched-mode power supply works worldwide for receiver operation.
