Each instrument comes with an exclusive carrying case emblazoned with the Aerophone 10th Anniversary logo, a numbered certificate and a special letter from the Aerophone R&D team.

Enhanced by experts

While developing Aerophone Pro, Roland reached out to expert wind players around the globe, and their feedback led to many thoughtful improvements that substantially enhance the instrument's look, feel, sound and playability. The result is a revolutionary wind instrument that gives musicians a new and highly expressive voice.

Refined design

Aerophone Pro features a sleek design and premium materials, with an attractive, thin shape that's easy to hold for a confident playing experience. Controls are easy to reach and the streamlined body exudes an understated yet classy appearance. The discrete OLED screen feels like an integral part of the instrument with easy viewing in all kinds of lighting.

Play with passion

Aerophone Pro's adjustable fingering is the same as a flute, clarinet or saxophone (complete with a high-F# key), while a motion sensor, configurable controls for both hands and a MIDI input for footswitches greatly expand your performance options. Through extensive research and development, the breath and bite sensors are more responsive and expressive than ever, with low latency and configurable settings to suit your unique playing style.

Authentic brass, woodwinds, strings and more

Aerophone Pro packs an entire brass and woodwind section into a single instrument. It features a wide range of sounds developed with professional wind players, including newly enhanced soprano, alto and tenor saxes, vibrant trumpet sounds and authentic world instruments like the stunning duduk. Roland's SuperNATURAL technology translates every playing nuance with lifelike dynamics, articulations and overtones. Multiple custom fingerings are supported, while expanded controller options enable idiomatic performance techniques from mainstream to exotic.

Roland's best synthesizer sounds

Aerophone Pro is an immensely capable wind synthesizer backed by the same Zen-Core sound engine that powers flagship Roland synthesizers like Fantom EX and Jupiter-X. Presets crafted by the world's foremost wind synth sound designers offer everything from vintage analog synth tones to modern hybrid sounds, all with the expression and articulation only a wind instrument can provide. It's even possible to import Zen-Core tone data and custom samples created on a Fantom series keyboard into Aerophone Pro via a USB flash drive.

Powerful harmony and tuning features

Newly expanded tools provide even more options for enhancing performances and playing regional music styles. The Intelligent Harmony function creates realtime harmonies based on the key and scale you set. And with a wireless footswitch like Boss FS-1-WL (sold separately), you can turn the harmonies on/off and switch keys as you perform. There's also a Scale Tune function for independently tuning each note on the instrument, enabling you to perform with different temperaments or personalize Aerophone Pro for specific music genres around the world.

Take the stage – and the studio

With its robust design and flexible audio/MIDI connections, Aerophone Pro is perfect for live performances or as the centerpiece of a wind controller-based studio setup. Bluetooth MIDI provides wireless access to music production apps and external control options such as the Boss FS-1-WL and EV-1-WL (both sold separately). And with a headphone jack, built-in speaker and battery-powered operation you can pick up and play whenever and wherever inspiration strikes.

Sound management

Aerophone Pro's powerful onboard editing tools let you personalize sounds on the spot. Even deeper customization is available through the free editor app, where you can manage sound libraries for different playing situations. With easily selectable scene memories and favorites, you can quickly navigate the vast array of tones and mark them for instant recall. Import/export is available via the app or a USB flash drive, allowing you to swap and share scenes with other players in the Aerophone Pro community.
